The form factor will be familiar to anyone who's seen or used the TAPS rig, or many other commercially available slimline chest rigs. Designed to hold 3 STANAG AR magazines closely to your chest, the rig is minimalist but still expandable to your needs. Mags have optional shock cord retention, all straps are removeable & adjustable, and the whole front of the rig is a combination PALS/loop field so you can weave or stick on any kind of pouches or patches.

The shoulder straps are a wide & comfortable "X-harness" style arrangement, and a kidney strap keeps the bottom of the rig in check when it's loaded up. The whole arrangement can be worn in conjunction with armor or without it, and can even fit under jackets.
