A wonderful Art Deco engagement ring featuring a gorgeous old diamond set in warm 14k yellow gold. The .51ct old European cut diamond has a dazzling VS clarity and J color. This delightful stone is displayed in a multi-layered hexagonal head; the concentric hexagons are engraved with milgrain detailing. Cathedral shoulders and raised gallery are pierced and engraved, giving the body of the ring a delicate architectural feel. This Jazz Age ring pairs well with a wide variety of vintage and artisan wedding bands. Circa 1920.
