A stunning bone bead wrist mala with hand inlaid pieces of coral and turquoise, accompanied by a pressed turquoise marker bead. Strung on red cord.
A note about bone beads: Tibetan nomadic life is hard, and in the cold there is little to eat. Water buffalo is a main staple in Nepal and Tibet and when an animal is used for food nothing is wasted. These amazing bone beads are hand inlaid by artisans who recycle and reuse everything in daily life and spiritual practice.
This adjustable wrist mala is rather small; it can open up to about 7 inches and measures approximately 6 inches when fully tightened.
